Dr. Glen Hallows
Dr. Glen Hallows is originally from Loa, Utah. He completed a bachelors degree in Zoology with minors in chemistry and spanish at Southern Utah University in Cedar City. Dr. Hallows attended veterinary school at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, graduating in 1987. Dr. Hallows joined Bear River Veterinary Clinic immediately after vet school. Dr. Hallows professional interests include orthopedic surgery, wound surgery, cosmetic surgery, food animal work, the occasional exotic case, and laser surgeries. Dr. Hallows is an excellent surgeon and does several routine and more complicated surgeries on a weekly basis.
Prior to veterinary school, Glen served a 2 year mission for the LDS church in Fresno California. He became fluent in spanish during that time, a skill that he still uses routinely. Dr. Hallows is an avid bow hunter, enjoys riding horses, loves to camp and fish and has a unique interest in breeding and raising exotic poultry. He is very involved in church responsibilities and enjoys spending lots of time with family. Dr. Hallows and his wife Nancy have 4 children, 2 of whom are married, 1 on a church mission in Arizona and 1 in high school. They also have 2 grandchildren.
